Shopping list is not merely a list of thing you are going to buy; like the ones you make on a piece of paper. This list is made in a simple Microsoft Excel worksheet. Or if you want something more sophisticated, you can get other similar shopping lists in more complicated software you can buy in the internet.

How to Use Shopping List Template for Excel

Shopping list consists of some information, including these followings:
– The name of shopping items, which are usually put in certain category. For instance, the category of meat will cover beef ribs, beef steak, chicken leg, chicken breast, chicken thigh, chicken wing, etc.
– Price reference, which wraps the unit or quantity of shopping items. This will then affect the price calculation on the next column
– Price reference from some marts you used to shop at; which can be as many as you want to have. It aims to compare the price for each shopping item in certain quantity or unit
– The cheapest price reference; this information is placed in the last column on the right

In order that the Shopping List will work well, you have to know the list of items you will need to buy and put it categorized in one column. For it can also be the tool to memorize the price, you should also get the updated information about the current price in certain store(s).
