2026 FIFA World Cup Predictor Game Template

Predicting outcome of any sport tournaments has become a habits for people around the world who love watching those sport tournaments. Especially, if they watch them with their friends, colleagues or relatives. 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament is one of them. People, especially football fans, intends to make a prediction and treat it as a game, either it involves money or just for fun. You can collect match predictions based on actual matches or based on their own predictions. As you know, there are 48 teams that will compete for this championship. They are divided into 12 groups. In total, there 104 matches until the final match. This is the biggest FIFA World Cup tournament in history in terms of number of teams and matches.

What Features 2026 World Cup Predictor Game Has?

These are several features you can get

  • Custom Match Points for Group and Knock Out Rounds: Set points based on your own point scenario. You can award points based on exact score outcome or based on team who won the match regardless of the score. You can read how to set points and how points simulated in its User Guide.
  • Knock Out Teams by Actual Matches or Player Prediction Matches: Choose Knock Out pairing teams. You can set it by Actual Matches where your players predict outcome after Knock Out teams are revealed. Or, you can set it by Player Prediction Matches where Teams in KO rounds will follow your player’s prediction. If you decide to choose the latter one, you can ask your players to predict 104 matches at once.
  • Bonus Points for Certain Criteria: Your players might predicting their group matches outcome badly. But, they still have a chance to climb their leaderboard by getting bonus points for certain criteria. There are 11 criteria you can choose and set the points.
  • Most Outcome Prediction: There is a scoring board tab that will summarize all the predictions where you can view most outcome predictions.
  • Leaderboard: This is the tab where you and your players can see ranking movement through out the tournaments.

What Platform that I can Use?

You can use a minimum Microsoft Excel 2010 or Google Spreadsheet (Paid Version only)

How to Use this Spreadsheet?

Here are short instructions on how to use 2026 World Cup Predictor Game.

1. Set Your Game

This is the tab where you can set your game scenario and points. As you can see in the image below, there are points for Group Stages and Knock Out Rounds. You can edit those points based on your own preferences. And there is additional points you can apply for Penalty Shoot Out. It is optional . You can set it off.

In Knock Out Rounds part, you must select between Actual Matches and Player’s Prediction Matches as your preference for Knock Out team brackets. If you set it to Actual Matches, all matches will be similar with actual matches. If you set it to Player’s Prediction Matches, all matches will follow your player’s prediction that might be different with actual matches. Remember that you will get no match points if your player’s team pairing is different from actual pairing. And this is where bonus point could compensate that.

In bonus point table, you can see that there plenty of options you can set to award points to your players based on certain criteria. For example, you can award points by number of qualified teams in each KO rounds (Round of 32, 16, QF, SF, Final).

2. Set Your Player

Set your player names in Participant Setup tab. These names will be populated in other tabs automatically. Remember that the order of player in this tab will also be used as the final tie-breaker in Leaderboard tab.

3. Fill or Copy and Paste Your Player’s Score Predictions

You will have actual matches table and player’s prediction matches table in Game Board tab. Actual matches is at the left side or the first table while player’s table are starting from the second table. Fill player’s predictions or do copy paste AS VALUES in particular player’s table. Why AS VALUES? To make sure that it doesn’t ruin the formula in those tables. There are individual player prediction files that you can share to your players and collect them.

4. Fill Match Actual Scores

Fill actual outcome in Actual Matches table in Game Board tab. You will see respective points will be shown in player’s table automatically.

5. Track Your Player’s Rankings

Check Leaderboard tab after you update the actual match.
